a mantra

I have been voracious in my pursuit of a career that balances my passion for the expressive arts and people. While studying theater performance, I fell in love with discovering how an actor reveals the intention of a character and how they then use that to relate to the audience. This act of mining past the physical life of words and actions of a scene to the character’s intention was my first understanding that I would be attracted to a career in communications indefinitely. I have worked in various industries including hospitality, publication, sales, marketing, and creative and sales focused writing and with each endeavor, I am clearer than ever that my stake is here to stay.
